Reset your password

  1. Go to www.x-meta.global and click [Log In].

  2. Enter the Email Address and Password associated with your account. Then click [Log In].

  3. Click the Account Icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

  4. Select [Security] from the menu.

  5. Next to [Login Password] you should find a button labeled [Reset Password]. Click this button.
  6. Enter your old password. (This is your current password, as you haven't changed it yet.)
  7. Enter your new password. Confirm your new password in the following field by typing it again.
  8. Enter your SMS or Google Authentication Code and click [Confirm] to continue.
  9. Once you have followed these steps, you've successfully reset your account password.

Forgot Password

If you forget your password, you can request to reset your password.

  1. Visit the X-Meta Homepage. Click the [Log In] button.
  2. Click the [Forgot Password?] link.
  3. Enter your email address and click [Submit].
  4. Check the email address connected to your account for a password reset email. 
  5. After opening it, click the [Reset Password] link within. 

Change E-mail Address

  1. After logging in to your X-Meta account, click [Profile] - [Verification, Payment & Limits].
  2. Click [Change Email] next to [Basic Info].
  3. To change your registered email address, you must have enabled Google Authentication and SMS Authentication (2FA).
  4. If you wish to proceed, click [Next]. You need to verify your original email address.
  5. Click [Click to get code] and enter the code sent to your email. Enter your new email address and password. Please note that the new email address should not be registered to any X-Meta accounts.
  6. You need to verify your new email. Click [Click to get code] and enter the code sent to your new email.
  7. You will also need to verify this action by 2FA verification.
  8. Your email is successfully changed. Please sign in with the new email address.

Please note that after changing your email address, withdrawals from your account will be disabled for 3 days for security reasons.

Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Tap on the [Profile] menu and tap [Security].
  2. Enter your phone number and email address to receive a 6-digit code, enter it to set up.
  3. You can also be verified by Google Authenticator.

For your own account security, we highly recommend you to enable two-factor authentication. 

Devices logged into your account

You can see computers, phones, and other devices that are currently using or have recently used your X-meta account.

  1. Go to your X-meta account.
  2. On the right navigation panel, select [Profile].
  3. On the [Security] panel, select [Device Management].
  4. Click [Manage], you'll see devices where you’re currently signed in to your X-meta account. For more details, select a device.

Setting up Google Authentication

  1. Log into your X-Meta account and click [Profile] - [Security].
  2. Click [Enable] next to [Google Authentication].
  3. You will be redirected to another page. Follow the step-by-step instructions to enable Google Authenticator.
  4. Download and install the Google Authenticator App on your mobile device.
  5. After you’ve installed the App, click [Next] to continue.
  6. You will now see a QR code on your screen.
  7. Open the Google Authenticator App and tap on the [+] button on the bottom right of your screen to scan the QR code.
  8. Then click [Next].
  9. If you are unable to scan it, you can manually enter the setup code into the app.
  10. Save the backup key on paper. This Key will allow you to recover your Google Authenticator in case you lose your phone.
  11. Verify your Google Authenticator with your other 2FA devices.
  12. Enter your phone number and email address to receive a 6-digit code, enter it to set up.

You have successfully enabled Google Authenticator to protect your account.
